ESS Training Program FAQs
Yes, we recommend making arrangements with an ESS coach to attend practice to see if our environment is a good fit.
ESS’s training sessions are Monday – Friday and are 1.5 hrs long. Sessions generally include:
- 15 mins of warm up time (stretching & running)
- 15 mins Skill of the Week intro & practice
- 30 mins of speed & agility training
- 30 mins scrimmaging
Groups are divided up by age & level.
ESS coaches will notify players via team apps/chats regarding weather cancellations.
European Trip FAQs
Players interested in playing experiencing playing European soccer with ESS can submit their application only here.
Please note: ESS requires video highlights showcasing the player’s skill level.
After receiving the online application and video highlights, an ESS coach will then contact the player to either extend an invitation to tryout for the European team OR if the player is not yet ready, they will provide feedback that helps the player to prepare to tryout for the next upcoming trip.
ESS offers its players an opportunity to play in Europe every Winter & Summer.
While costs fluctuate…currently trips are running about $5500 (which includes a player’s airline tickets, hotel accommodations, and more).
Players who have tried out and made the Europe team as well as their parent(s) and sibling(s).
We travel and play in Vienna, Budapest, Prague, and Bratislava.
ESS asists players in obtaining the required visa to play soccer in Europe. Visas are 1 year temporary stay that can be extended up to 5 years.
